Yup... here we are.

That being said, LL and I have already been on a number of adventures!
Exhibit A:
Who says Oklahoma can't be fun?
Probably the same people who tell you that you can't drive a two-wheel-drive '97 Honda Civic on an Oklahoma Farm Road after a rain storm...
In our defense, we got that car really, really, REALLY stuck. With the cat-like reflexes of a NASCAR pro, Laura handled that Civic for nearly 2 miles into farm-land; until gravity (and lack of friction) finally took over.
Needless to say, it was hilarious. Even calling the world's creepiest tow-truck company had a certain je ne sais quoi...
Exhibit B:
A new addition!
His name is Gus, (on the left), and he's a Blue Heeler Mix. He likes long walks on the beach, pina coladas, and eating rocks. He's incredibly smart, and has already mastered "Sit," "Stay," "Shake," and "Eat Slipper."

This beautiful jet. Need I say more?

You guys are hilarious...and yes, REI is a beacon of outdoorsy goodness (a.k.a. money-sucking-crack)...Selene has a lifetime membership card, and her favorite present is an REI gift card. Y'know, here in the Northwest you may actually get to use your tent in a real camp site!
